Charles “Chuck” Lee, 65, of Somonauk, IL, passed Thursday, October 30,2025 at Accentcare in Naperville, IL. He was born September 4, 1960, in Jacksonville, IL, the son of Willard O. and Shirley E. Lee. He was a Lifelong member of St. John Lutheran Church in Somonauk. Chuck worked at Imperial Marble in Somonauk for 20 years. He enjoyed fishing, especially the trips to Canada, antique cars, and going to car shows. Chuck was very involved in the Our Sharing Pantry in Somonauk. He volunteered at Pleasant View Luther Home for church services. Most of all Chuck enjoyed spending time with his siblings, nieces, and nephew.
He is survived by his sister, Patricia (Thomas) Merle; his brother, Mark Lee; his aunt Maxine Johnson; four nieces; one nephew; six grand nephews; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Shirley Lee, and one sister-in-law, Lisa Lee.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at St. John Lutheran Church in Somonauk. Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the church in Somonauk, with Pastor David Ufkes from Pleasant View Luther Home in Ottawa officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in rural Somonauk. Memorials may be directed to Our Sharing Pantry.
