Charles Leroy Collins

Charles Leroy Collins, Sr., 75 years young, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026.

Charles is preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Vicki Collins; mother, Lucille Seals; father, Clarance Collins; and brothers, Jimmy Collins and Kieth Collins.

Charles is survived by his children, Ron (Wendy) Shelton, Charles Collins, Jr., Melissa (Robert) Darnell, and Margaret Stanley; sister, Marie (Bob) Cuneo; brothers, Clarance Collins, Jr. and Freddie Collins; sister-in-law, Brenda Stanford; step-sisters, Edna (Dennis) Greene and Linda Singleton; grandchildren, Jesse Collins, Rebecca Collins, Devin Shelton, Caitlin (Spencer) Collins, Robert Darnell II, Victoria (Logan) Darnell, Makayla Stanley, and Jason Stanley; great grandchildren, Clarice Simerly, Paisley Shaver, and Natalie Shaver; as well as many other family and friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Gentiva Hospice for all the care they gave their dad and to Annette Dagosta for everything she did for their father, he loved you.

The family will received friends from 5 – 7 PM, on Thursday, April 2, 2026, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7 PM, with Rev. Kenny Stout officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, on Friday, April 3, 2026, in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
