Charles Cook Obituary
He was born Jan. 21, 1939, in Marietta, to the late Jesse James Cook and Ruby Hollifield Cook. He was a contractor and a proud member of First Baptist Church of Ellijay.
He is preceded in death by loving wife, Patsy Cook.
He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Charles W. and Peggy Cook Andrew Watson and Rachel, James Lee and Terez Cook, all of Canton, and Douglas Gregory and Cindy Cook, of Ellijay; 12 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, 2023, from the First Baptist Church of Ellijay with the Rev. Josh Moyers, the Rev. Dale Land and the Rev. Scott Eaton officiating.
Interment was in the Yukon Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jordon Cook, Calloway Cook, Cooper Cook, Coleman Cook, Chaz, Jesse Cook and Robbie Cook.
