Miami isn't the same without Crespo and the Crespogram. You may be gone, Al, but you'll never be forgotten. RIP.

We loved Al. Always supportive of our work and a very unique man to say the least. They don't make them like Al anymore. RIP

Miss you man. Always engaged, always helpful, always acerbic. Driving by your place when in Miami Shores is a must do. Thanks for keeping us on our toes.

Al, I could always rely on you for a straight answer- long winded maybe_ but always straight & well researched. We had some laughs making movies together, didn´t we. Rest easy.

There will never be another one like you. Thank you for keeping the City of Miami politicians and staff on their toes. You were the man! God Speed! RIP!

Honesty was your middle name, even when your past came up. Someday we will understand your goals. Right now you will be missed by some of us.

My deepest sympathies to the family. Every time I went to an important protest or event in Miami, Al was there taking photos. Miami has lost a great voice for the People.

You go Crespo. I just ran across a bunch of photos from a job we did in the Keys with dozens of girls in bikinis. Good times.

RIP, Al. You were one of a kind, and oh, how we need another. I admired you for finding out things we weren't supposed to know -- and for telling us even if we didn't always want to know.

So sorry to learn that Al has left us. For years he was Miami's most courageous, persistent and vocal enemy of corruption in local government. As effective as he was at exposing wrongdoing, he could also be very funny and entertaining. Never pulled his punches. We haven't been the same without him and it's our loss.

A true Miami legend, who dedicated so much of his time to protecting us all from corrupt dealings. A life well lived, full of deeds for which we are all grateful. RIP.

Al you were amazing. Every American should learn your skills at uncovering corruption. You were one of a kind. Rest well sir.
