I had the pleasure of having Charles as my boss. He was always happy, cheerful and shared lovely stories of trips with his wife and grandchildren. He was extremely intelligent, and a fantastic lawyer. He is and will continue to be truly missed.

Just a quick memory, one of many, about my friend Charles. One of the years we spent working together, we had a manager´s retreat in WIckenburg, Arizona (Merv Griffin´s dude ranch). To top off that memorable meeting, Charles and I drove back across the southwest desert `caravan´ style with our two (company) vehicles. Sure enough, my Ford gave up the ghost. Thank goodness Charles was nearby - he helped me clean out the truck (from files and other stuff), loaded up his car and we waved goodbye to the Taurus, never to be seen again. Charles gave me a great pose for the photograph I uploaded here - pointing out my wounded, disabled car as we were leaving.
