I am saddened by the loss of this wonderful man. Byron entered my life as a patient and left as a dear friend. I have wonderful memories of him, from reading his short stories, his chili recipe, and to eating squirrel for the first time. My thoughts and prayers are with Golddean and his family.

Our family sends prayers for the many family and friends of Byron. He will be missed in so many ways. I thank him for his service to his country. His straight forward attitude and his undying love for his family and friends. His strength and courage through this terrible battle has taken its toll on all who ever knew him. I fortunate to able to call myself one of his many friends. Please, Love, Prayers and Strength to all who cared and loved him. Ronnie & Gayle Johnson family.
