A girl couldn't have had a better brother and sister-in-law!
Chuck was a musician who loved to play the piano and guitar. One year he came to my High School, North Fulton High School, and he played guitar and together we sang "Here Comes the Sun" by the Beatles. It was a hit! Later he told me that song had some of the most difficult chord changes at the bridge and he was scared he would mess it up.
He also was a member of the Civil Air Patrol Georgia Wing. I imagine he was part of the Senior Squadron https://gawg.cap.gov/locations/west-atlanta/atlanta. When he was eighteen months old his birth father, Charles Philip Walton, was killed in a flying accident during WWII, I think, Navy as a fighter pilot. Chuck spent the rest of his life becoming an expert on WWII battles and was a well of information on the subject.
He also enjoyed riding/restoring motorcycles, and he had a BSA motorcycle that he loved. Restoration of cars and motorcycles become a love of his and the last restoration he did for a client garnered him awards.
To me he was Bro and I am so glad that he and Roz have been reunited. I'll miss our long phone conversations! And one day I will join them, and we will have a great visit. Robbin Eaves

Chuck and I worked together and off and on for many years. A good man always with a tale of something funny and interesting and in most cases a story related to your mother.
RIP my friend !!
