Charles Eubanks Obituary

Charles Jesse Eubanks, affectionately known as Chuck, was born on June 4, 1957, in Covington, Kentucky. He departed this life on July 5, 2025, in Florence, Kentucky, leaving behind a legacy rich in craftsmanship, creativity, and love.

Chuck made his living as a skilled woodworker and cabinet maker, dedicating many years to creating custom items and rehabbing numerous homes in Covington. His artistry is prominently displayed in the beautiful woodwork that adorns Rafferty's in Florence, where his attention to detail and passion for his craft can be admired by all who enter to share a meal and laugh. Throughout his career, Chuck touched the lives of many through his work, leaving a lasting impression on the community he cherished.

Education was important to Chuck, who attended Holmes High School. After experiencing an injury on the job, he persevered and went on to graduate with honors from ITT Tech, earning a place on the Dean's List, which illustrated his determination and intelligence.

Chuck's warm and engaging personality endeared him to many. He was known for being happy-go-lucky, intelligent, kind, and loving, qualities that defined his interactions with family and friends. He had an innate artistic flair, being an artist of many mediums, which he began developing at a young age when he attended art school at just 11 years old. Alongside his artistic pursuits, Chuck had a keen interest in collecting coins and currency, often sharing fascinating facts about them. His studies also extended to stones, showcasing his diverse range of interests.

A proud Navy veteran, Chuck served his country with honor, which further exemplified his dedication and commitment, traits he carried into all aspects of his life.

He is survived by his loving sisters, Georganna (James) O'Neil, Linda Gentile, Rhonda Martin, and Krista Rice; a close friend, Lisa Destout; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and friends, who will remember him fondly.

Charles is preceded in death by his mother, Florence Stamper (nee Locke); father, Freeman Eubanks; and sister, Delilah Weber.

A visitation will be held on July 18, 2025, from 12 PM to 1 PM, followed by a funeral service at Newcomer Funeral Home, Northern Kentucky, located at 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY 41018. Following the service, Chuck will be laid to rest in Historic Linden Grove Cemetery in Covington, which held a special place in his heart.

Chuck was loved deeply and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. His spirit, kindness, and artistry will continue to resonate within the hearts of those he touched throughout his life.
