Charles Ferrillo

So sorry to hear about this. I was a karate student of his in the 1980s at 10-12 years of age and still, over 30 years later, remember him and what a great teacher he was. I still have memories of the time he spent with me on his lessons.

Charlie was just a great guy. He had a terrific sense of humor and we had such a good time working together. You could always count on him to help you out with a difficult student. He was a caring and dedicated teacher who Influenced the lives of so many kids. He was such a positive role model. My heart goes out to Diane and the family. He was truly one of a kind. You will be missed my friend. I hope that it is always the end of June where you are.

Charlie was one of a kind...on my first day of teaching at Rossi Intermediate School, I could hear him asking everyone as he passed them in the hall, "Is it June yet?" He was a firm disciplinarian and I could always count on him for help with a difficult student. But, he had a soft side and that was evident when he spoke of his children and grandchildren. You will be missed, Charlie. May your memory be eternal my friend.
