Charles Mickey Forame

Charles "Charlie" Mickey Forame, 65, of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away on October 17, 2025. He was born on May 2, 1960, in Washington, DC, to the late Benjamin and Mary Forame.

Charlie was employed as an auto mechanic for Shadyside Auto and Towing for 15 years. He was known for his exceptional skills and dedication to his work, often going above and beyond to help his customers.

In his free time, he enjoyed watching race cars and had a love for his historic 1970 Chevy pickup truck which he was given to by his brother Kenny. He spent countless weekends attending car shows and races helping Robert show and race his 1989 Mustang GT, always eager to share his extensive knowledge and passion with fellow enthusiasts.

Charlie was predeceased by his parents, beloved wife Judy, brother Kenneth Harding and his brother-in-law Robert DeVelbis known to him as Big D. He is survived by his step-son Rickey Hunt (Barbie), and sisters Mary Jameson and Ruth DeVelbis.

Charlie also had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Charlie was loved by his nieces Denise Mitchell, Kathleen Summers, Doreen Miles, Hailey DeVelbis, Jesse Jameson and DeVelbis (Nate) nephews Chris and Mark Jameson, Keith Harding and Rob DeVelbis Jr and his sons Shawn and Ryan DeVelbis. He had numerous longtime friends from his Elementary School days and life growing up in Suitland, MD.

On Friday, October 24, 2025, the family will receive friends for the memorial gathering from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm with prayers at 7:00 pm at Brinsfield Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.

In lieu of flowers please donate in memory of Charles Forame's name to the American Cancer Society for Lung and Brain Cancer.
