Charles "Chuck" Peter Francisco, Jr., age 68, passed away on January 15, 2025.
Chuck was preceded in death by his loving parents, Charles Peter Francisco, Sr., and Mary Joseph Francisco. He is survived by his siblings, George Rhett Francisco (Sue), John Cary Francisco (Janet), Sandra Joanne Francisco (Wayne Skinner), Theresa Francisco Goff and Richard Garland Francisco. He leaves behind four nephews, four nieces, three great-nephews and one great niece.
Born in Richmond, VA and raised in Beaverdam, VA, Chuck was known for his sharp intellect and exceptional memory, qualities that endeared him to family and friends alike. He worked for Kaeser's RV Services, where he found not just a job, but a second family. Chuck's love for rhythm and blues music, his adventurous palate for exploring foods from various cultures, and his enthusiasm for family beach vacations in the Outer Banks highlighted his zest for life. He treasured holiday gatherings with his family, creating memories that will fondly be remembered.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Sheltering Arms Institute for their loving and respectful care of Chuck during his final days. Chuck's warm spirit and love for family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Guests will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Bliley's Funeral Home, 8510 Staples Mill Road, Richmond VA 23228. A Rosary service will immediately follow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1107 Fredericks Hall Road, Buckner, VA 23024. Interment will follow at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Cemetery.
