Charlie was there for me when I needed a friend . Helped out when I needed him and his wife Carol. I will always remember his generosity and will miss him..

I visited Michigan many times with my family as a child. My first memory of Charlie was a horseshoe game he and my dad were playing at Charlies' parents' cottage. Charlie had tied a small tree branch back around the trunk to keep it out of the way of the game. I asked who did it and Charlie responded it was done by a powerful storm called a "Michigander".

I´ll never forget when we moved in next door to Charlie and Carol and our kids instantly called him Santa. He was like another grandpa to them while we lived there and we are so thankful to have had him in our lives. The guys loved sharing their fishing stories with him. Many prayers to you Carol and to the rest of your family as well. We will meet again in heaven one day dear friend. Much love- The Policka´s
