Bob...I've known you a long time...like most people in Montgomery...through the many political campaigns I've worked on over the decades that I've lived here or through the attorneys I've worked for...at that point, I knew you through your work. For the last six years or so, I've gotten to know you on a more personal level while I've worked my second job at Sinclairs. I've turned up the lights for you every Sunday so you could see your paper and brought you your Bloody Mary's and your brunch...but most of all, we talked politics, family, baseball, tennis, football, New York, traveling and you know my children by name and never fail to ask about their lives. Next Sunday, and every other Sunday that follows, won't be the same without you. I will miss you terribly. But your drink and your paper will be on your table...lights up.

"Gootch" was a very intellegent man and I have wtched him for years on the Good Morning Montgomery show which is now Good Afternoon Montgomery.
If you wanted to know something that was going on he could answer it for you.
He kept us informed about what was going on at Victoryland and the electronic bingo trial and he was good at what he did.
He was a honest man and I am sure going to miss him.
He loved his furbaby, Maggie and I pray she gets a good loving home. She is surely missing her daddy.
May you R.I.P. "Gootch".
You will be missed by thousands of people!!!
