Charles was a soldier! We met frequently on the Battlefield. He was a
doer and a gifted Poet. We were classmates way back when and I always admired his honesty! Who can replace his commitment and love for his people? Who is able? During Katrina, Charles gave me an interview for a Hollywood Documentary, I was so proud to call him a friend!
Farewell former classmate. You completed and never left the course! I stand witness, Servant well done!

I´m at a loss of words to express my grief at the loss of this great man whom I called friend. I am so grateful for the friendship and wise biblical based counsel he often shared with me. Now more than ever I truly need "The strength to face the day"! To his family you have my heartfelt condolences and prayers. At a time like this we need to remember God knows best!

I met him as a stranger. We talked about a lot of things mainly God and life. He gave me a beautiful poem that I have to this day. Was surprised to see him in the obituary, however I know that he was prepared for the journey. He was a beautiful man and although our meeting was brief it was meaningful. May he rest and peace and may his family find comfort in their time of sorrow.

To the Garrison family, Pastor Garrison was a blessing to me and my family. He grew up in St. Luke with my family under Rev. Nathan Thomas Sr. To me he was family. No matter where you were he always had a word. I can remember how he brought me to tear in the Office Depot! Who does that! Only Pastor Garrison LOL! Continue to treasure his memory. His was a life well lived. West& Thomas Family
