Charley was a natural athlete. He had a strong throwing arm as a quarterback and baseball catcher . He threw with such ease. Charley was big and strong so he was used as an end and defender on defense. B.D. would have won more games if Charley would have been utilized better. Charley had a great personality and was respected and admired by his peers. Obviously, the ladies liked him as well as he married our beautiful prom queen. I pray Charley is resting in peace in heaven. God bless and keep Charley´s loved ones.

Pam and Garver family:

Please accept my condolences on Charle´s passing. What a great man. I´m sure he was a great husband, father, grandfather brother and citizen. He was a tremendous teammate in baseball and football who never complained just always did his best. More importantly is that I remember as tremendous human being. In our early 20´s Charley and I coached a Boys Club football team together. We had 25 boys 23 of which came from one parent families. Despite our record the boys finished the season and none dropped out. Charleys influence on those boys made the difference probably for a lifetime. God bless all the family during tough time. Love God first and love each other., Jesus will get you through with the hope of seeing Charley in heaven again some day.
