Charles Gergely Obituary
Charles "Wayne" Gergely, age 53 of Glendale, KY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Nortons Hospital in Louisville. Charles was a US Army Veteran where he achieved the rank of Sergeant. He was the store manager at various locations for American Rental.
He is the son of Bonnie and Mark Firth.
He is preceded in death by one grandchild.
He is survived by his wife, Kristi Gergely; his four children, Jacqueline, Jasmine, Kira, and Charles; 10 grandchildren; one brother, Richie Gergely (Brittany); one sister, Veronica Locker (Tim).
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM ET on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff Kentucky with millitary honors. Inurnment will follow there. Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville is assisting with arrangements.
