Titusville , Florida - Charles Randall "Randy" Gilkerson, of Prichard WV, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 in Titusville FL. Born November 13, 1950, in Huntington WV, Randy affectionately known as "Chauncey" by his friends was an avid athlete and loyal friend whose energy and generosity were known to many.
Randy graduated from Buffalo High School in 1968 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Marshall University in 1972. He began his career with International Harvester in Bowling Green, KY, and also taught part-time at Western Kentucky University. He later entered the coal industry with United Coal Company, and went on to co-found B&G Mining and Ember Contracting, successfully operating coal mines throughout West Virginia, Kentucky and Virginia.
