Charles Gire Obituary
Charles Gire, age 43, of Bolivar, passed away surrounded by the people who loved him most. He was born on April 17, 1982, in El Paso, Texas, to Everett Gire and Cheri Dodson.
From a young age, Charles had a spark that drew people in. He was known for his big smile, quick wit, and the way he could make anyone laugh. He graduated from Stockton High School in 2000, leaving behind a trail of friends and memories that reflected his fun-loving spirit.
In 2007, Charles met the love of his life, Dana, and the two were married on April 10, 2008, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Together, they built a life full of laughter, adventure, and unconditional love. In 2009, Charles proudly adopted Dawson, Laney, and Makenzie, and their family became complete with the birth of their daughter Harlee in 2014. Being a dad and later a Grandpa to his grandson Jayden was one of his greatest joys.
Charles worked the last five years at Precision Small Engine in Bolivar, as a small engine technician who could fix just about anything. He loved his work and took pride in helping others, always lending a hand when someone needed it.
Outside of work, Charles was happiest outdoors, hunting, fishing, swimming at the lake, arrowhead hunting, or just spending time with his family. He had a gift for making every moment fun, whether he was pulling a joke on someone, telling a story, or laughing until tears filled his eyes. His sense of humor, kind heart, and outgoing personality made him impossible to forget.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, Everett Gire. He is survived by his loving wife, Dana Gire; his children, Dawson Gire, Laney Bumgarner (Joshua Bumgarner), Makenzie Gire, and Harlee Gire; and his cherished grandson, Jayden Bumgarner. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Cheri and Willie Dodson; his sister, Carolyn Watson; nephews, Bailey Gire and Aiden Watson; and nieces, Leah Gire, Lyric Gire, Addison Brittingham, and Braelynn Brittingham.
Charles will be remembered for his laughter, his stories, and the way he loved with his whole heart. His presence could fill a room, and his absence will be deeply felt by everyone who was lucky enough to know him. Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will live on forever.
"Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure,
You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure."
Until we meet again, we'll carry your laughter and love with us always.
