Charles A Glanding

Charles A. Glanding, Jr., husband of the late Dorothy (Woodward) Glanding, born October 3, 1935 in Philadelphia, son of the late Charles A. Glanding Sr and Alma Elizabeth (Poleman) Glanding, passed away on August 24, 2023 at his residence at Elm Terrace, Lansdale.
Charles graduated from NAHS, class of 1953, and U. of P. Wharton Evening School, class of 1967. After college he served in the US Army at Trois Fontaines, France. He retired from Penn Mutual where he was Vice President of Customer Service. Charles was the Chair of the Whitemarsh Twp. School District Authority, Life Office Management Assoc. Customer Service Comm., and was a member and served in various positions at Bethel Hill United Methodist Church, Lansdale. Charles greatly enjoyed his weekly visits with his daughter Wendy, grandsons Michael and Matthew.
Charles is survived by his son Charles A. Glanding III (Janet), daughter Wendy Henderson (Michael), grandchildren Sarah Clark (Josh), Kimberly Glanding, Christine Crooks (Kenneth), Michael Henderson, and Matthew Henderson, and great grandchildren Riley and Mason.
Services and interment in Washington Crossing National Cemetery will be private and at the family's convenience.
