Papa writing this is the hardest thing I've ever done, but I need you to know the depth of my gratitude before I say goodbye. Thank you for loving me as your daughter my whole life you gave me the love and attention I needed growing up and you were the foundation I built my world upon. Thank you for all your kindness and rational advice. Thank you for helping me to be the best version of me loving me until I could love myself and being so patient with me. Thank you for being my hero from the way you probably served our country to the way you lived your daily life you showed me what true strength and integrity looks like. Thank you for being so kind to my family and always being there for my mom. Your influence is truly a gift that will live on through me forever. You have been my father my protector and my best friend, I promise that I will take care of your hat and John Deere speaker for the rest of my life. It will stay with me as a piece of you that I will never let go. I love you more than words can ever express I just know you're up in heaven on a backhoe digging trenches for all of God's mansions. Please continue to watch over me and Michael and baby Nevaeh. Rest in peace Papa until we meet again and with all my love
love Melody
You will be greatly missed
