Charles Hadden, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 73 in Marianna, Florida. Born on July 27, 1952, in Daytona Beach, Florida, Charles lived a life dedicated to his family and his work as a truck driver, a career he devoted many years to with great pride.
Known for his loving nature, Charles was a good man and a true family man. He was often described as a workaholic, putting his heart and soul into everything he did. His commitment to his family and work was evident in the way he balanced his professional responsibilities with the love and attention he gave to those closest to him.
Charles had a passion for fishing, which brought him joy and peace throughout his life. It was a cherished hobby where he found solace and spent time enjoying the great outdoors.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 28 years, Shirley Hadden, who was his steadfast partner in life. Charles is also survived by and his daughters, Tonya Pridgeon and Kaitlyn Hadden, his son, Shannon Murphy. He was a loving brother to Jimmy Hadden, Clara McCraney and Jeanette Laub, and he will be missed deeply by his many grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Charles's life at the visitation on October 2, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Adams Funeral Home Chapel, in Blountstown. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM also at the funeral home.
Charles Hadden will be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family, his strong work ethic, and the love he shared with all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of kindness and care will remain in the hearts of those he touched.
