With grateful hearts for a life well lived, the family of Charles E. Hanson announces his homegoing on November 23rd, 2025. Born August 31st, 1937, Charles entered this world as a blessing, and he left wrapped in the eternal promise of Christ. Reunited with his savior and welcomed into glory.
A devoted Husband, Charles shared an unshakable love with his wife, Margaret Hanson. Their marriage stood as a testimony to God’s faithfulness, reflecting the joy, patience and steadfast devotion that marked Charles' walk with the Lord.
A true servant of Christ, Charles dedicated his life to preaching the Gospel. He carried the good news wherever God led him. Through missionary work, ministry and everyday acts of kindness. His heart burned with the desire to see others drawn closer to Jesus, and he lived everyday with the purpose of shining God’s light into the world. Those who knew him were blessed by his spirit, his patience, and his stubbornness.
Charles also used the talents God placed into his hands. A gifted woodworker, he crafted each piece with care, precision and prayer. His creations were more than objects; they were expressions of gratitude and worship shaped through the gifts the Lord entrusted upon him.
A proud disabled veteran of the United States Army, Charles served his country with Honor. Even in trial and hardship he leaned on his faith.
Charles will be remembered as a man who loved God whole heartedly and served others and lived with humility and purpose. His legacy of faith continues through the countless lives he touched and his family who loved him dearly.
Though he is absent from the body, he is present with the Lord waiting for the great union of non-believers.
