Charles D. "Charlie" Harrison, 85, joined the love of his life on Saturday November 6, 2021. He was born 02/11/1936 in Edgewood, IN at home to Noel and Dorothy (Seigle) Harrison. He married Evelyn (Hinkle) Harrison on 9/2/1955. They enjoyed 65 years of marriage. When Charlie was 12 years old, he started working at a southside dairy sweeping floors, then bottle washing and then moving on to other tasks making $5.00 a day until his senior year. Charlie graduated from Greenwood High School. He played basketball and baseball.
After graduation he started working at U.S. Envelope Company/Westvaco retiring March 3, 1998 after 44 years. Charlie was a big kid at heart. He was a little league baseball coach. He loved playing with trains, collected over 1,000 Wheaties boxes, kept his kids toys and games plus a mountain of other collectibles. He loved fishing and camping with his family. He was also quite the artist on the scroll saw. He loved sitting at his barn every Sunday and waving to everyone going to and leaving the Rocklane Christian Church. He will be greatly missed by his family and his friends.

Survivors include his son, Larry D. (Lisa) Harrison; daughter, Leora (Bob) Strack; three grandsons Adam (Jamie) Harrison; Greg (Jennifer) Harrison; Jason (Jessica) Walters; four great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Joan Harrison and daughter-in-law Becky Harrison.
In-laws by marriage: Steve Hinkle, Brad and Kathie Skeel, Mary Toler, Chuck and Johanna Skeel and Alice Higginbotham.
