Marissa, Illinois - HAYNES
Charles Henry Haynes, 60, of Marissa, IL; born on February 28, 1963 in Bryan, TX, the son of Ron and Scarlett (Enos) Haynes; went to be with his Lord in heaven on Monday, July 3, 2023.
Charles was an avid comic book collector who could tell you if a DC or Marvel movie did not match up to the magazines, he followed them persistently. Charles enjoyed fixing and collecting antiques. He could fix just about any type of antique radio or clock. Charles loved spending time with his nieces and nephews most of all. whether it was swimming with them in the pool at his parents' house or playing games in the yard, Charles always enjoyed their company.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey Haynes and aunt, Jackie Haynes.
Charles is survived by his parents – Ron and Scarlett (Enos) Haynes of Marissa, IL; one brother – David Haynes of Marissa, IL; one sister – Lisa (Joe) Naberhaus of Apopka, FL; long-time friend – Carolyn Stopyra of Belleville, IL; uncle – Steve Haynes of Springfield, MO; sister in law – Shelly Cover Haynes of O'Fallon IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Marissa, IL on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. with Brian Tedrow officiating.
