My Condolences to the Charles Hickey Family.

Dear Jan,
My good friend and your sister, Beth, always spoke so highly of the role both you and Charlie played in her life. She credits you both with her accomplishments, which are many, and always said Charlie was like a dad to her.

I think Beth and I somewhat bonded over Charlie´s diagnosis. One of our closest family friends, throughout most of my life, was a retired FBI agent who shared the same diagnosis.

Your husband sounds like a one in a million kind of guy, who led a life to be admired. I love the ice cream story.
