Charles Hill Obituary
Mr. Hill passed away Thursday January 8, 2026, at his home in Trenton, TN. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a State Farm Agent for 32 years. He was on various boards through the years including the YMCA from its beginning and the Trenton Industrial Development Board. He was the oldest surviving member of the Trenton Elks Lodge, having been a member for 55 years. Charles was a very giving person who loved to help others. He was a staunch fan of Peabody High School sports and when he became unable to attend the games, he made sure it was set up in plenty of time to watch it at home. He supported the University of Tennessee football for many years. Everyone knew him by his signature Tennessee orange jackets. To say he was a "Vol for Life" is an understatement. He will be missed by so many but remembered with love.
Mr. Hill is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Betty (Byasse) Hill, his wife Jo Hill, and his son Brian Hill.
Mr. Hill is survived by his wife, Lynn Hill, two sons; Chuck Hill and wife Sherry and David Hill, a stepdaughter Kristy Whitfield, a stepson Justin Aydlotte, a sister Betty Warman, eight grandchildren; Riley Hill, Moria Mann and husband Sean, Trent Hill, Eliza Hill, Katie Hill and husband Tyler, Luke Hill, Sydney Hooper, Kristen Aydlotte, and McKinley Aydlotte, and three great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers to honor Mr. Hill are, Keith Siler, Kevin Siler, Chuck Thorton, Brandon Leach, Paul Phelan, and Sid Phelan.
