It is with sad hearts that we announce the death of Charles (Hoss) David Hill, Jr. age 82. Charles passed away September 27 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday October 1 at the Chapel Norton Funeral Home. Rev. Alvin Rogers and Rev. Charles McLendon will officiate. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday September 30 from 5-7 pm at the funeral home.
Hoss was born in Hartsville a son of the late Charles David Hill, Sr. and Mae Bell Van Hill. He retired from Pepsi Cola Company after 21 years of service. He was an avid Deer Hunter and Fisherman and was a collector. He was a loving Husband, Father, grand and great grandfather and he loved the Atlanta Braves.
Surviving is his wife, Patsy Gainey Hill, Hartsville; two sons, Curtis David (Jessica) Lloyd, Birmingham, Ala.; and Perry Allen Hill, Hartsville; one daughter, Teresa (Mitchell) Joyner, of Bishopville;. five grandchildren and 24 Great grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.
