Charles Hunt Obituary
Charlie was born in Memphis, October 22, 1943, the son of Charles Bennett, Sr. & Margaret (Estes) Hunt. He retired from Nissan Motor Corporation and later Executive Vice-President of Operations from McKeller Services.
Charlie loved training and showing Morgan horses and owned Morgenwind Farms. He also enjoyed listening to country music and being surrounded by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Shaw Hunt, parents, four sisters, Shirley, Elizabeth, Charlene, Peggy and brother, John Robert Hunt. He is survived by two sisters, Joyce Matlock of Brookhaven, Mississippi and Anita Temple (John) of Germantown, Tennessee, son, G. David Keller (Shane) of Chattanooga, Tennessee, many beloved nieces and nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
A visitation will be held at Canale Funeral Directors on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 1:30 pm followed by a prayer service beginning at 2 pm. Interment will be at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Lagrange Road, Memphis, Tennessee, Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 2:30 pm.
The family requests that memorials in his honor. be made to Porter-Leath, 868 N Manassas St, Memphis, TN 38107
