Charles Hooper Jackson

Charles Hooper Jackson, age 83, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on January 21, 2026. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of Sellars Family Heritage at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026 with Bro. Travis Fleming officiating. The Family will be receiving friends and family on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Crestview Memory Gardens. Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Erma C, Jackson; son, Kristain Hooper Jackson, and sister, Lillian Ruth Firooz. He is survived by his daughter, April Jackson, of Portland, Tennessee; Sisters, Barbara Gregory, of Radcliff, Kentucky, and JoAnne Brooks (Joel), of Castalian Springs, Tennessee; Special friend, Tammy Hutchinson, of North Carolina; A special niece Jodi (James) which he adored. Charles is also survived by several other loving nieces and nephews. Charles was employed at Lakeside Elementary in Sumner County for 40 years, and it was a truly rewarding experience as he loved all the kids. Charles was also a proud member of First Baptist Church Gallatin where he served as an usher for several years. Family and Friends will be serving as pallbearers.
