To Charlie's family,
My deepest sympathy to all of you. Charlie was a wonderful man, will be missed by many. I had the privilege of his acquaintance at SEARS. If you wanted something done and done right, Charlie was the man to see.
Rest in peace Charlie.

Mrs. Chaz,It saddened me deeply to hear of the passing of your husband. Though in reflecting upon my days as a scout, I was met with much joy as I recounted the memories of learning and growing with you and Mr. Chaz. Wether it was in your living room, in the basement of St. John's or in your RV as your current home was being built, the wisdom and guidance that the two of you provided for me as a young man was immeasurable. I will always be grateful for the time that I was able to spend in scouting. However, what I have come to realize more as I have grown is that it wasn't the programming or the merit badges, but it was the people that I interacted with through scouting have such a huge impact on my life. You and you're husband taught me so much about being a leader and a quality citizen and for this I am eternally grateful. Know that I am not alone in being so thankful for the time spent as a young man with you and your husband and younare in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Best regards,Rich Wilson

I am saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Chaz. My sons and I knew him as the Scoutmaster for Troop 52 during most of the 1990's. He was a great example for the boys because he was a "get it done" kind of guy, and as honest as they come. Moreover, every one of the scouts saw him as a friend. Perhaps the best way to mark his passing is by saying thank you to his family for sharing him with us.
God bless.

Dear Mrs. Langenegger,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Chaz was part of my childhood. My brother John Klein was in his scout troop with Tim. I remember camping as a family with the scouts and having so much fun with Gretchen too. Mr. Chaz told me once to always remember there is no closer relative to me in the world then my brother and that we should always be close and take care of each other. He was so right and I always remembered that. My Dad really enjoyed helping with the troop. You and Mr. Chaz were always welcoming and fun to hang out with. God bless you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love,
Jackie (Klein) Paskert
