Hello,

I did not know Mr. Leopold however I was one of the first people on the scene of his accident. I am a family medicine physician and when my husband and I saw him down, we immediately turned around to see if we could help. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I just watched the video with his pictures and was so moved by these love-filled images of friends and family. Sending you all my love and prayers.

Peace,

Jeanne Lumpkin, MD

I always remember Pat's smile that put all at ease when he entered a room. He was an easy going, loyal, and thoughtful friend. Although he was one year senior, I looked up to him like a big brother. He consoled me when I was down, shared joyous occasions, and encouraged me to excel.
He told me how happy he felt when Bea said yes I'll be your bride. His pride and love for his children illuminated his face when he spoke of their accomplishments in academics and sports.
His strong ties to his brothers and sisters were obvious to all of us. He spent time with them celebrating holidays and events.
Sleep peacefully silent brother, husband, father, and friend.
Your light still with us,
Wade
