Shocked and sad to hear of Charlie's untimely passing on what is the 43rd anniversary 1/26/82 of us becoming NYC Police Officers. I sat next to Charlie in the academy and will always remember his great sense of humor and easygoing disposition. Over the years we would cross paths and it was always good to catch up on where we were in our careers. I'd spoken to Charlie in the last year and we'd talked about getting together for lunch up in Rockland with a few other guys we knew in common. Charlie my friend I'm sorry never got to have that lunch, Rest In Peace Brother.

Just finding out that Charlie had passed I can´t begin to say what I´m feeling. Charlie was always fun to be around and he and Maddog were always singing something in the cafeteria. He was a great guy and didn´t deserve to die this young. Charlie can be taken from us but you can´t take our memories away. RIP dear friend, you will ALWAYS be remembered.
