Even though I only knew Chuck and Roz while attending Holy Spirit parish in San Jose, CA, I was always greeted with a big smile and a twinkle in Chuck's eyes. They were always ready to have an interesting conversation - and especially Chuck since I was a Midwesterner as well who had relocated to California from Illinois. I have thought about them often because they were indeed so special and so family-oriented.
