Charles Paul Metzger III

Charles Paul Metzger, III December 5, 1968 – March 13, 2022 Charles Paul Metzger, III passed away on March 13, 2022, at age 53. Charles was a lifelong resident of Warminster Township. He was one of 3 children born to the late George M. Metzger and Dolores Metzger of Warminster. Charles is survived by his wife Jill Metzger and his daughter Sarah Michelle Metzger as well as his Brother G. Michael Metzger (Rose), Sister Lisa Marie Horan (Matthew), Father-In-Law Bill Butler, Sister-In-Law Nikki Russell (Todd), his nephews Sean Horan, Frankie Russell and his niece Alison Horan. He was proceeded in death by his Mother-in-Law Arlene Butler. During their 34 and half years of marriage Charles and Jill attended numerous civic, political, and social events within the Warminster and Bucks County communities. Charles spent most of his working career with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He was also the sole proprietor of The Government Group. He was a member and past Worshipful Master of WK Bray Lodge #410 of Hatboro, PA. Charles was also a member and Past President of the Warminster Republican Club and a member and Past Chairman of the Warminster Republican Committee. He was also a sitting member of the Warminster Planning Commission where he held the position of both Chairman and Vice Chairman over the past 10 years. Charles was Secretary of the Warminster Pioneers and was also the "BEST CHEER DAD" for Sarah and her teammates. In his spare time Charles loved to play Pool, Darts and Shuffle Board at Kenney's Madison Tavern, attending Philadelphia Soul Games, Phillies Games and enjoyed spending vacations in Disney World and Mexico. A Celebration of Life in memory of Charles will be held on March 18, 2022 from 4pm -8pm at the Ben Wilson Senior Center, 580 Delmont Avenue, Warminster PA 18974. Interment will be private.
