Charles E. Miller, age 75, of Tomah, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Serenity House.

He was born on July 3, 1950, to Lyle and Anna (Widmer) Miller. Charles attended Royall High School and entered the workforce at the age of 16. Throughout his life, he worked a variety of jobs, most recently with Mann Brothers, where he operated heavy equipment including the backhoe and excavator. Known for his strong work ethic, Charles retired at the age of 55.

A quiet and humble man, Charles found joy in the simple things and especially cherished the peace of being outdoors in nature. He will be remembered with love and missed deeply by those who knew him.

He is survived by his daughter, Shelly (Jeff) Ott; grandsons, Sean (Kimberly Cameron) Miller, and Matt Ott; siblings, Jack Miller, Margaret Larson, Kathryn Miller, Linda Jensen, Donna (David) Benson and Melody (Dale) Woodliff. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; son, Andy Miller and brother, Lyle "Buck" Miller.

A Private Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah.
