Dr. Charles Austin Mitchell

Doc was a one-of-a-kind. He was generous, brilliant, onery, and generous. I am one of his "cabin" girls. We love Casa del Lago. Hugs to all his family. I loved Doc.

My condolences to the family. In the mid 90´s I moved back to Sparta and my back yard joined with Docs garden. My daughter was 4 years old and made friends with him in the garden and would go out and help him pick vegetables. After the first year he planted a few extra plants just for her to tend to and pick off of. Such a kind man and always a friend to myself and my daughter. He will be missed

Dr. Mitchell was so generous with the "cabin girls" all those years ago. We loved getting away for a few days - letting our hair down - consuming lots of "fresh juice" - laughing until our ribs were sore. The going to visit Doc and Annie Martin to return the cabin key and share photos and thanking them so much. Priceless memories.
