Charles Henry Nash M.D.

Charles Henry Nash, M.D. entered into eternal rest on October 7, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Graveside services honoring the life of Charles will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 located at Mt. Union Baptist Church Cemetery, 2736 LA-15, Spearsville, LA 71277. Officiating the service will be Bro. Buddy Boatright. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA 71118.
Charles was born on March 14, 1934 in Spearsville, Louisiana to Joseph Carl Nash and Sallie Odessa Elkins Nash. Charles was a graduate of LA Tech University in 1956. In 1960, Charles graduated med school at Louisiana State University. He began his private medical practice on August 1, 1961 at "The Family Clinic, Inc." and practiced medicine for 37 years, retiring in 1997. During that time, he served as Physician for the City of Shreveport for 17 years. In his spare time, Charles enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, playing cards, spending time with friends and family, and good food!
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Carl and Sallie Odessa Nash; and his siblings, Murrell Goosen, Dora Katherine Hall, Celeste Post, Marilyn Odom, Lenora Martin, Weltha Guillory, Carolyn Taylor, and Dewey Wayne Nash.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Patsy Nash; son, Joseph "Craig" Nash; daughter, Regina Rambin; grandchildren, Ashley LaLiberte and husband Philip, Alexis Leslie and husband Mike, Damien Rambin, Lauren Deep and husband Matt, and Elizabeth Johnson and husband Phillip; great-grandchildren, Christian Harris, Joshua LaLiberte, Brandon LaLiberte, Madison Harris, Chase Leslie, Raini Dai Leslie, Caden McCarty, Keagan Rambin, Briggs Deep, Josi Deep, Pike Johnson, and Caroline Grace Johnson; great-great grandchildren, Maddison King, Easton Harris, and Baelynn Harris; many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Honoring Charles as pallbearers will be Damien Rambin, Mike Leslie, Philip LaLiberte, Christian Harris, Chase Leslie, Caden McCarty, and Keagan Rambin.
The family would like to express their thanks with a special mention of appreciation to his adopted daughter and caregiver, Stephanie Brackman and his caregiver, Alice Horton.
