Charlie left a good life long impression on me. It was more than 60 years ago that he mentored me as a young boy at the boys club. I will always carry those memories. Thanks Charlie!!

I am stunned and wish i had known of his passing, it would have been my mission to attend. He was truly a blessing in my life that motivated me to new heights as a man and professional. He truly help to mold young men and inspire them, thank you to the Nash family for allowing him to be in our lives. You have my sincerest condolences and prayers. While in college I actually wrote a paper about how he impacted my childhood and I was proud to have him read that paper.

I just wanted to add to my earlier comment. Playing on his Jr Varsity Basket Ball team in the early 60's was fun and very challenging under the Coach! Practices were intense & Chatlie's wind sprint drills were brutal!! And he once when I was really tired he pinched my stomach kinda hard & said "you've been eating too many mashed potatoes, Davis" lol. I also worked at the BC while in HS with Charlie. He was a great mentor who I respected so much! It's been over 45 years since I was at BC & yet Charlie still lives in my heart as my hero. God bless him.

My sincere condolences to Nash family. I first met Charlie in the 1960's when I joined the BC with my 2 bro's. I was 8 at the time and remained a BC member thru HS. No one in my lifetime other than my parents had a greater more profound influence in my life. My bro's & I still talk often of him & I will always think of Charlie!!

I took care of Charles for the time that he was in the current nursing home, as his certified nurse assistant. I enjoyed all the fun times we had from laughing and talking. He was a nice guy and had a nice family as well, that was always there for him. As his time here with us was going down it was a little hard for me, coming in to work and taking care of Charles. I was off for a few days came back to work and him or his belongings was not there. I knew then God called him to heaven, I will miss him but I look at it this way he is in peace and not suffering. He is watching down on his family and friends. Rest In Peace Mr.Nash

Charlie Nash- The Man! The Legend! At times a Mike Ditka/Vince Lombardi type of a person. Almost as close to me as my own father. Taught me what to be and what not to be. He taught me to be respectful, appreciative, understanding, competitive, attentive and the list goes on. He taught me not to be a Clown! I owe allot to Charlie, he helped me at a very early age (started going to BC with my two brothers at the age of 8) to understand things that have helped me to achieve future success in many ways. Love ya buddy and will always remember you and what you have done for others.

A larger than life giant of a man with a heart to match! Charlie embodied the boys club motto. "A man never stands so tall as when he stoops to help a boy" . Rest in peace knowing that the lives you influenced became men you would be proud of!

Charlie was like a father to me at the Boy's Club and has been a friend, mentor and leader to me for 37 years. I will not forget you Charlie, I owe a lot of my personal successes to Charlie. Without Charlie, I would not have had the structure that he and the Boy's Club provided. RIP Charlie until we meet again.

A LEGEND to any boy who was a Boys' Club member. He leaves a footprint on the many lives that he touched and changes. A huge void in the St. Louis community. A GIANT!!

Mary Rose, Chuck, Joe & family,
The Page family would like to express our deepest sympathy to all of you.
I certainly have nothing but fond memories of Charlie ranging from being a youngster, growing up next door to the Ferrara's and sitting on our front lawns together on hot summer evenings to more recently visiting privately with him at St. Agnes and sharing privately the many enjoyable times we had with together with Gail, Mike & others.
He touched many lives through years at the Boy's Club & we will miss his smile, laugh and stories he shared....Dave

Mary Rose,
The memories I have of Charlie go back more than 20 years. Some of the best memories I have of him are the times spent at Jackie's house, swimming in the pool, playing cards, and always being full of laughter and smiles. I am so sorry for your loss.

We were next-door neighbors to Charlie and Mary Rose for 10 years on Hancock Ave. We had some great times there and Charlie was a big part of those. He always had a smile and a wave when he saw you. We'll never forget the booming voice of this great man. God's peace be with the Nash Family.
