Charles R. Ouellette

Charles R. Ouellette, 42, of Strafford passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
Born on June 29, 1982, at Loring Air Force Base, Limestone, Maine, he was the son of Robert P. Ouellette and Nora J. (Dumond) Tracy. Charles graduated from Orono High School in 2001. He attended Northern Maine Community College in Presque Isle, Maine, graduating as a registered nurse in 2010.
Charles was a dedicated nurse, gardener, and father who found great solace and joy in planting and tending to his vegetable garden, he loved to share this passion with family, friends, neighbors, patients and strangers alike. Charles' commitment to nurturing the land and chickens under his care was a reflection of his gentle nature and deep connection to the earth he so loved.
Charles met the love of his life, Melissa Lord in 2012. His proudest accomplishment was being a Dad to their two young sons, Colin and Liam, who he loved and adored. He showed them the beauty of nature, camping, fishing, hiking, and sharing stories around a campfire. May his spirit live on in the hearts of his children, guiding them and watching over them from above.
Charles is survived by his beloved companion, best friend, and Mom to his children, Melissa Lord, their two sons, Colin and Liam, of Strafford, NH. His mother and stepfather, Nora and Kevin Tracy of Somersworth, NH. Brother, Adam Ouellette and wife, Morgan, of Arundel, ME and sister, Michelle Young and husband, Kyle, of Salem, NH. Charles was the loving "Uncle Chuck" to his nieces and nephews: Connor, Faith, Wyatt, Charlotte and Ethan. His large family also includes many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Charles was predeceased by his father, Robert P. Ouellette of Van Buren, ME, his paternal and maternal grandparents, Euclide and Lorette Ouellette, and Stacy and Mary Dumond, as well as Melissa's mother, Faith Lord.

Services: a time of visitation will be held from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 28 at Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Avenue, Dover. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, on September 28, also at Tasker Funeral Home. Details for a gathering in Charles's honor will be announced at the services. Services are under the direction and care of Tasker Funeral Home.
