OAK GROVE, LA - Graveside funeral services and interment for Charles Edward "Buddy" Pace, age 81 of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Red Wing Cemetery near Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Reverend Kyle Harper will officiate.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
Visitation will be held from noon until 1:30 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Cox Funeral Home, 200 East Noble Street in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Mr. Pace passed into eternal life on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at his residence.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was farmer and a mechanic. He was a member of the VFW.
Mr. Pace is preceded in death by his father, William Milton Pace; mother, Vissie Jane (McAllister) Pace; brother, Albert Pace; brother, George Pace; and sister, Judy Pace.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Theresa (Ainsworth) Pace of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Marty Franklin of Oak Grove, Louisiana; son, Brent Pace of Oak Grove; 4 grandchildren: McKenzie Franklin; Natalie Thompson (Jacob); John Tylen Franklin; and Raylin McGee; brother, James Pace of Boothville, Louisiana; sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Jerry Cook of Monroe, Louisiana; brother, Terry Pace of Monroe, Louisiana; sister, Tammie Pace (J. B.) of Oak Grove; sister-in-law, Marilyn Pace of Shreveport, Louisiana; special son and his wife, Chris and Melissa Issac of Oak Grove; and great granddogs, Brogan & Gus.
