Benson, NC: Mr. Charles “Glenn” Parker, age 69, of NC-242 S. passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at SECU Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be held-11:00 AM Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Burial will follow in Parker Family Cemetery in Four Oaks.
Mr. Parker was born on November 16, 1953 in Harnett County to the late Charles Grey and Shirley Faye Parker. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Andy Wayne Parker. He was a farmer, a real estate developer, and an avid outdoorsman. He will be remembered as a loving Daddy, Papa Glenn, brother, and friend.
Survivors include his sons, Jeremy Glenn Parker, Johnathan Charles Parker III and wife, Erica, Jarrett Grey Parker and wife, Jennifer, Phillip Ryan Parker, Charles Glenn Parker, Jr., and Quintin Cornelius Parker; grandsons, Johnny Mac Beasley III, Logan Grey Parker, and Lucas Benjamin Parker; sister, Carol Parker Lewis, and husband Mike; brother, Marty Scott Parker and wife, Connie; aunts, Judy Bradshaw and Sue Parker; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
