Charles L. Raines, 91, of Wellsville, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at his home.

Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.

Charles was born in Boonville on October 5, 1934. He was the son of Richard and Ada (Runkle) Raines. On July 11, 1986, he married Juanita Wolf who preceded him in death on January 18, 2025.

Charles was a true outdoorsman who loved nothing more than spending time in nature. Whether it was fishing at his favorite spot or heading out on a hunting trip, that's where he felt most at home. He was also the kind of man who could fix just about anything. From lawn mowers to cars and everything in between, if it was broken, Charles could figure out how to get it running again.

Survivors include one son, Richard (Annette) Raines of Bellflower; two daughters, Dianna Gordon of San Diego, California, and Sharon Newland of Fulton; two step-sons, Joseph Hannon of Wellsville, and Rex Hannon of Bellflower; one sister Barbara Caldwell of Boonville; three brothers, Jerry (Debra) Raines of Lovelaceville, Kentucky, Larry Raines of Wright City, and Roger (Martha) Raines of Wright City; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Juanita; one son, Allen Raines; two grandchildren, Patricia Zipprich and Noah Raines; one sister, Lillian Jeffries; and three brother Richard "Dicky" Raines, David Raines, and Mike "Micky" Raines.

Memorial contributions may be given to Sunrise Memorial Gardens. They may be sent in care of Myers Funeral Home, 203 E. Bates Street, Wellsville, MO 63384.
