Charles “Charlie” Rasmussen, age 84, passed away Friday, November 7, 2025. He was born on April 14, 1941 to Donald and Mavis Rasmussen and grew up in Hutchinson, Minnesota. Charlie is survived by his children, Todd (Karen) Rasmussen, Fawn (Zach) Zinter, Nicole (Grant) Larson; grandchildren, Randall, Brandt, Nicholas, Zachary, Jaidyn, Noah. He meets in Heaven his parents, Donald and Mavis; wife, Bev; brothers, Jim and Rob; other relatives and friends. Charlie was very proud to have been sober for 45 years, and spent the rest of his life sharing his story of recovery and his profound faith in God. Charlie’s personal experience with addiction and recovery gave him a platform to help others by showing that person who struggled can also find lasting sobriety. He helped so many people. Charlie left us on Friday with a smile on his face, and was not afraid, as his profound faith gave him peace and he trusted that he would be welcomed home to Heaven; reuniting with those who went on before him at last.
