Eickenhorst Funeral ServicesCharles Reilly, 72, passed away on November 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A lifelong Houstonian, he spent his formative years in Baytown, Texas. Charles was known for his humor, his gentle spirit, and the joy he found in simple, meaningful moments.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Helen Reilly of Baytown, Texas; his sister, Joan Reilly Kraft; and his brothers, Mickey Reilly and Kevin Reilly.
Charles is survived by his devoted wife, Deborah Reilly, and his beloved children: Sarah Kate and Jonathan Hansen, and their children Maley, Arri, Lola, and Zadie; Robert, and his children Jude and Ezra; Evan and his wife, Kira; Kelley and his wife, Linnea; and Brenna and her husband, Benjamin Bullock. He is also survived by his brother, Jeffrey Reilly, along with numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Murphy, who all cherished him deeply.
Charles dedicated his career to hospital food service, where his kindness, work ethic, and unwavering care touched countless lives. He was a lifelong and talented golfer, sharing his passion for the game with his children and grandchildren. He was also a gifted cook whose meals were the heart of family gatherings. He loved music and traveling to live shows, and in 2024 he gathered his whole family for an epic trip to see The Avett Brothers at Red Rocks, where they all enjoyed his joyful dance moves. He dedicated his life to his family, and his love and pride were evident every day. Charles was a spiritual man whose sharp wit and generous laughter made every room brighter.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 19th at 10:00 a.m. in the Robb Chapel at The Woodlands Methodist Church, 2200 Lake Woodlands Dr, The Woodlands, TX 77380, with a reception to follow in Jones Library.
