Charles "Chuck" Rewolinski, aged 86, passed away Friday, March 24,2023 at Mitchell Manor in
Oak Creek, WI. Born in
Savannah, Georgia, he had lived in
Miami, Florida and
Lincoln, Nebraska before his mother and step-father settled in Wisconsin. Charles graduated from Don Bosco High School and attended Marquette University. He had worked at National Tea Food Company stores as a Produce Manager and at the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage Commission until his retirement. His wife of 63 years, Geraldine, preceded him in death on February 25, 2023.
Charles is survived by children Debra (Jerry) Lichter, Michael Rewolinski, Gail (Darryl) Bird, and Charles Rewolinski. He was "Poppa" to grandchildren Lisa (Joshua) Werner, Sheri (Theodore) Spankowski, Anthony (Rayeanne) Lichter, and Megan Bird, and "Big Poppa" to great-grandchildren Ella and Marlina Werner. He is further survived by his half-brother John Dale (Sharon) Smith, half-sister Gale Garrett, and sister-in-law Kathleen Hassman.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 10:00am-11:00am at St. James Catholic Church, 7219 South 27th Street, Franklin, WI, with a funeral mass to follow at 11:00am Burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, Oak Creek.
