Mr. Charles Richard “Ricky” Marsh, Jr., age 59, of Temple passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024. He was born in Conyers on December 18, 1965. Mr. Marsh is preceded in death by his mother, Betty Ann (Spivey) Marsh and by one grandbaby, BJ McCarty.
Ricky enjoyed being outdoors, going hunting, taking care of his animals, and was known as a great cook. He was an avid TikTok content creator, with over forty thousand followers. Ricky was described as very dependable and the greatest Papa you’d ever meet. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Michele (Giddens) Marsh of Temple; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Allen and Rebekah Tipton of Bowdon, Matt Tipton of Iowa, and Wesley and Jenn Tipton of Richmond Hill; three daughters and their spouses, Meagan Rogers and her fiancé, Derrick Banks of Mount Zion, Brandi and Josh McCarty of London, Kentucky, and Candi and James Webb of Jacksboro, Tennessee; his father, Charles Richard Marsh, Sr. of Temple; his brother, Randy Marsh of Temple; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Pamela and Joe Bowden of Temple and Renee Marsh of South Georgia; his grandchildren, Tyler Tipton, Keegan Tipton, Tripp Tipton, Harleigh Tipton, Allison Tipton, Whitley Tipton, Mattie Tipton, Hayden Rogers, Mahayla Banks, Holden Tipton, Grace McGuire, and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 2P.M. from Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Chris Wheelus officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, prior to the service, from 12 Noon until the funeral hour.
In accordance with Ricky’s wishes, he will be cremated following the funeral service.
