Thinking of you all in this time of grief. May you feel surrounded.

Although we were all congregants at Community Presbyterian Church in Celebration, Fl, we didnt actually meet Chuck and Ethel until accompanying a group from the church on a trip to Israel in the Spring of 2017. We met over soup. In the past 2 years weve been privileged and blessed to be called friends by Chuck and Ethel.

Chuck was enormously talented in so many ways. He was a gifted poet, prolific writer, amazing artist and painter of canvas and glass, wonderful singer, musician, teacher and speaker . . . all in addition to being a compassionate, people-loving man of God as a pastor for over 64 years. You couldnt help but feel better in Chucks presence. His personal warmth and intellectual curiosity were all-encompassing. Both he and Ethel shared huge and loving heart with everyone they touched

While we grieve our loss of Chuck with his family and many friends, we are joyous in knowing that this man of great faith and good soul is happily home now with his Lord, Jesus, and his Heavenly Father. Everything Chuck believed and taught is now his experience.

Chuck was such a great Christian and wonderful singer! I know he is now singing with the angels in heaven!

Chuck had a beautiful and powerful gift of singing hymns that raised us all to praise God. His focus on Jesus was a great priority. We ask for Gods wings of comfort around Ethel and family.

Chuck was truly a special person. He was such an encouragement to me. He was such a great example of what a Christian should be.
