Charles T Robinson

Our hearts are broken as we share that Charles "Manny" Robinson passed away peacefully at home on October 9th 2025, in Surprise Arizona, at the age of 85 surrounded by some of the people who loved him the most.
Manny was born on December 26, 1939, in Buffalo, Wyoming, to Lowell Robinson and Mary Norick. From the very beginning, he was tough, determined, and full of fire. He spent many years as a Drilling Rig Supervisor, earning respect for his dedication.
The greatest day of his life was September 28, 1996, when he married his soulmate, Lila Robinson. Their love was real, the kind built on honesty, loyalty, and a little stubbornness from both sides. They were partners in every way, and their bond was unbreakable.
Manny is survived by his loving and patient wife Lila, his two children, Mike Robinson and Trudy Trujillo, his brother Robert Robinson (Charlotte), along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren, who brought endless joy into his life. Some of his happiest moments were spent fishing, camping, and enjoying outdoors with family, friends and, coffee in the morning, a fire along with a glass of "beno" with a shot at night, and a lifetime of stories in between.
Manny was preceded in death by his parents and many siblings, along with his mother- in law Julie DeLeeuw, Children Mike Trujillo and Julie Trujillo.
He was a man who never pretended to be anything other than who he was. He spoke the truth even if you didn't want to hear it and you always knew where you stood with him. He loved to laugh, loved to talk a little shit, and if he ever asked, "Ready for a Shot", you knew it was going to be a good night. He was strong, stubborn, hilarious, and completely unforgettable.
Manny lived his life on his terms, and he left this world the same way, at home, with love around him, and peace in his heart. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing his spirit will always be with us at every campfire, every fishing trip, and every moment we raise a glass in his honor.
