Published by Divinity Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Dec. 21, 2019.
Charles Fred Rodgers, Jr., was born July 15, 1939, in East Chicago, IN to the late Charles and Peachy Rodgers. He accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Tabernacle Baptist Church in his younger years and in his final years attended God's House for All People.

Daddy I remember the nickname yiu gave me "Peachie Pie" and I remember the song you made up for me. You were my first love ... hero. My heart broke when you passed away, but I'm trying to find comfort in the fact that you are in God's hands now. The last thing I remember you saying was, "God's got me." I love you always and forever. RIP
