Charles Rueckert Obituary
Charles was born on May 17, 1945, in Lansing, Michigan, to Kenneth and Helen (Hill) Rueckert. He was married on August 21, 1965, in Lansing, to Judy Thompson. He retired from General Motors after 23 years. Charles was a member of Faith Community Church in Houghton Lake and enjoyed NASCAR, in his earlier years, hunting and fishing.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Judy Rueckert, daughter, Dana Rueckert, son, Chad (Christine) Rueckert, eight grandchildren, Brooke, Tori, Alyssa, Nick, Josh, Emily, Jake, and Katie, and sister, Connie Sluyter. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Jodi Rueckert, and sister Debra Witt.
Per Charles wishes, cremation has taken place, and private family services will be conducted. In lieu of flowers, donations to ALS Association Christler Funeral Home-Prudenville Chapel is serving the family. Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.christler-holdship.com
